EZ2Book ("we," "us," or "our") operates the EZ2Book software platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with a particular consumer or household. We collect information from two distinct groups: our direct clients (the "Client" or "Rental Company") and their customers (the "End-Users").
Information from Our Clients (Rental Companies)
- Account Information: When you register for an EZ2Book account, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, physical address, and password.
- Financial Information: To process your subscription fees and platform fees, we collect payment information. You also provide information required to connect your Stripe account via Stripe Connect, which may include business details, tax identification numbers, and bank account information. This information is securely transmitted to our payment processor, Stripe, and we do not store full credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.
- Fleet and Booking Data: We store all information you upload regarding your rental fleet, booking details, pricing, and customer information related to your business operations.
Information from End-Users (Your Customers)
As a data processor for our Clients, we collect information from End-Users on their behalf when they make a booking through the Service.
- Booking Information: We collect the End-User's name, email address, phone number, and the details of their rental reservation.
- Payment Information: When an End-User pays for a rental, their payment information is collected and processed directly by the Client's connected Stripe account. EZ2Book does not store the End-User's full credit card details. We act solely as a technology conduit between the End-User and the Client's Stripe account.
Automatically Collected Information
- Usage and Log Data: We automatically collect information about your interactions with our Service, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and the dates/times of your visits.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies to operate and administer our Service, gather usage data, and improve your experience. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

Any transaction or dispute between a Client and an End-User is governed by the Client's policies and their agreement with Stripe. We expressly disclaim all liability for the processing of payments or any issues arising from the use of Stripe's services.
